Sid is a professional songwriter, guitarist and recording artist who has performed with Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul and Mary, Clay Aiken, of American Idol fame and National Recording Artist Rick Recht. Sid enjoyed a full career teaching English and Communication Arts at the high school level in Buffalo, New York and he has directed educational programs in Florida, Pennsylvania, the Adirondacks and North Carolina. Sid has also performed extensively in the Western New York region and he has created educational programs for young people in Jamaica and in Israel. His CD, Suspended in Time, recorded in Buffalo, reflects a sampling of his songs and styles. Sid developed international song projects in Tel Mond, Israel and in Hamilton, Ontario for Sister Cities International. Sid also was the Director of Education and Public Programming at the Jewish Museum of Florida in Miami Beach. He is a recipient of the Humanitarian Award from the American Jewish Committee and the Sara Maddox Support of Art Education Award.
